Comparing "Japanese Imari porcelain" with "Chinese Jingdezhen
porcelain", there are differences in body, glaze and molding
methods, but Arita porcelain in the mid-17th century is very similar
to Chinese products.
日本伊萬里瓷器和中國景德鎮瓷器相比較，在胎、釉及成型方法上都有差異，但17世紀中葉的有田瓷器與中國產品則十分相近。

In the second half of the 17th century, Imari porcelain
began to be exported to Southeast Asia and Europe, and
was favored by Europeans.

Imari porcelain and Jingdezhen porcelain had a huge impact on
products such as Germany's Meissen kiln and Britain's Chalsey
kiln.

Imari Porcelain initially inherited the techniques of Korean
potters and produced simple-style Karatsu ware. After the
technology became stable, it began to produce blue and white
porcelain, and imitated the patterns of Jingdezhen ceramics in
China through paintings and actual objects.
伊萬里瓷最初承襲朝鮮陶工的技術，生產風格質樸的唐津燒等，技術穩定後開始生產青花瓷器，並透過畫譜與實物，模仿中國景德鎮陶瓷的紋樣。

Most of the porcelain styles exported to Europe are
plates, with only a small number of pots or bottles. Its
drawing styles include flower and bird pictures, landscape
pictures, insect pictures, flower cage pictures, peony
pictures, pomegranate pictures, etc.
出口到歐洲的瓷器款式多為盤皿類，只有少部份的壺類或瓶類。其圖繪樣式有花鳥圖、山水圖、昆蟲圖、花籠圖、牡丹圖、石榴圖等。
