3. The Egyptian teapot with its characteristic stylised Egyptian moulding has its origins in the early years of the 19th century. Egyptian articles became fashionable following Nelson's defeat of the French at the 'Battle of the Nile. This event captured the imagination of the public and as a result ceramic wares of the time clearly exhibited an Egyptian influence. This teapot is crafted in white bas-relief on a pale blue Jasper background.

這款"埃及風茶壺"以其獨特的埃及風格浮雕裝飾而著稱，其設計可追溯至19世紀初。在尼爾森(Nelson)於"尼羅河戰役"(Battle of the Nile)擊敗法軍後，埃及風格的藝術品逐漸流行起來。這場戰役深深吸引了公眾的想像力，導致當時的陶瓷製品顯著展現出埃及文化的影響。本款茶壺採用淡藍色Jasper背景，並以白色浮雕精心製作，展現出典雅的埃及風格設計。

4. The design concept of Wedgwood's "Historical Teapot" series is to carefully select six of the most representative teapots from the various shapes of teapots produced between the 18th and 19th centuries, and shrink them down to make "miniature versions of historical teapots".
